THIRTY-SIX HOURS BEFORE the planet was plunged into total darkness, with the world's leaders gathered in New Babylon, rebel armies numbering in the tens of millions were preparing to launch a desperate final strike.

Dozens of nuclear-tipped missiles were already aimed at the global city of commerce. Their leaders knew that Antichrist's military forces stationed in New Babylon vastly outnumbered them, but they believed that if even a single missile could be launched, the resulting electromagnetic pulse (EMP) would cripple the city's power grid and clear the way for a ground invasion.
More than one hundred thousand heavily armed soldiers stood ready to storm the city immediately after impact, engaging the massive military force that would undoubtedly rise to defend it.

Before a single warhead could be launched, the entire operation was abruptly and horrifically interrupted when the planet was plunged into total darkness.
As Scripture had foretold:
The sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up to prepare the way for the kings from the East.
Then I saw three impure spirits that looked like frogs; they came out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast and out of the mouth of the false prophet.
They are demonic spirits that perform signs, and they go out to the kings of the whole world, to gather them for the battle on the great day of God Almighty...
"Look, I come like a thief! Blessed is the one who stays awake and remains clothed, so as not to go naked and be shamefully exposed."
Then they gathered the kings together to the place that in Hebrew is called Armageddon.
